She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hixon and Georgeanna Hixon (Ambrose). She is survived by: her sister Ruth Hixon Georges (James) of Hillsboro, OH; her children, Geoffrey Brown of St. Louis Park, MN, Andrew Brown (Jennefer) of Mankato, MN and Megan Straatmeyer of Sioux Falls, SD.; and her grandchildren, Audrey Brown, Cecelia Brown, Alaric Brown, Nikolai Brown, Chivalry Straatmeyer and Saoirse Straatmeyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrance donations be made to Heifer International or Feeding South Dakota, two charities close to Marilyn's heart.
