He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Osbeck and Myrtle Osbeck (Krumm); his wife Sigrid Framsstad of Bushnell, SD; his son-in-law Timothy Vogl; his grandsons, Lee and Mark Vogl; and his niece Kathleen Wallace (Osbeck).

He is survived by: his children, Linda Vogl of Sioux Falls, SD, David Osbeck (Brenda) of Arlington, SD, Eugene Osbeck of New Hope, MN and Joel Osbeck (Missy) of Bruce, SD.; his grandchildren, Paul Vogl (Amanda) of Seattle, WA, Lisa Vogl (Tamas), Jenna Engen (Jacob) of Brookings, SD, Jordyn Osbeck of Bruce, SD and Katie Osbeck of Marion, IN.; his great grandchildren, Elsa and Leif Vogl of Seattle, WA; and his brother Leo Osbeck (Grace) of Albert Lea, MN..
