He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Arndt and Guida B. Arndt (Eggen); his wife LaNita "Jo"; his siblings, Victoria Boyd, Mavis Petersen, Irene McCoy and Donald; and his great grandchild Brooklin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Stykel (Dennis Engbrecht) of Dell Rapids, Melissa Lundebrek (Kurt) of Alexandria, MN, Sheila Feldhake (Frederick) of Alexandria, MN, Vicki Albers (Ardean) of Brookings and Patti Tolley (Craig) of Brookings; and his sister Delores Browne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Brookings Regional Human Society.
