It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle E. Aaberg of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Aaberg and Myrtle Aaberg (Rolfson); his wife Ann Aaberg; his son Dennis Aaberg; his siblings, Cleo Simmons and Eudell Aaberg; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Lenander, Phil Holen, Loren Simmons, Wayne Simmons, Verna Aaberg and Jida Aaberg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlis Nase (Rick) of Brookings, SD and Danelle Mittan (Dan) of Toronto, SD; his grandchildren, Chad Aaberg, Allen Aaberg (Andrea), Karmen Kracke (Trevor Grenz), Lisa Kracke (Bill Holgate), Nicole Cochran (Ross), Michelle Kracke (Kyle Coners), Dennis Chapin (Telia Sherman), Zach Davis (Brittney) and Spencer McCall; and his siblings, Carrol Vollmer (Arn), Donna Lenander and Lois Simmons.
