He is survived by: his daughters, Gretchen Holden of Fargo, ND and Colleen Poindexter of Brookings, SD; and his grandchildren, Abby Paul, Ethan Paul, Caleb Paul, Joshua Holden and Anna Holden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
