It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Ripley (Brookings, South Dakota), who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joel Ripley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert LeRoy Ripley and Mavis Roseann Ripley (Powell); his siblings, Kim Thompson and Scott Ripley (Jack); his niece Aimee Collins; his parents-in-law, Bob and Virginia Collins; and his sister-in-law Lori Ripley.
He is survived by: his wife Vaughn Ripley; his siblings, Jim Ripley (Lisa) and Pam DeKraai; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ripley and Rex Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1700 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006).
