Jo Ann Meyer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2023, at the age of 90, Jo Ann Meyer of Brookings, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Kurtz and Florance Kurtz (Newton); and her siblings, Curtis Kurtz, Kendall Kurtz, Fred Kurtz and Elta Woodard.

She is survived by: her husband Willis Meyer; her sons, Steven (Sally) of Manhattan, KS, Kent (Kathy) of Kaspelli, MT and Craig (Coralie) of Wellington, CO; her granddaughters, Stephanie Henton (John) of Leonardville, KS and Emily Meyer; her great grandchildren, Braydon, Trenton, Bailey, Kenzie, Bryce, Dallas, Belle, Elijah and Emerson; and her siblings, Leslie Farris, Doreen Smith and Wallace Kurtz.

Over the years Jo enjoyed making numerous quilts for charity, gardening, baking, decorating, many other crafts and spending time with her family.
