With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Lorraine Westphal of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Eblen and Phyllis Eblen (Korus); her sons, Mark and Christopher; and her grandchildren, Nathan and Amanda Westphal.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Westphal; her children, Terry (Carol) of Fort Wayne, IN and Deb Meyer (Jeff) of Brookings, SD; her daughters-in-law, Sara Westphal and Jessica Westphal of Kasson; her sisters, Anita Baudler (Bruce), Carole Heikes of Hutchinson, MN and Joanne Bentley (Rich); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Meyer (Amy), Lucas Meyer (Jessica), Jordan Meyer (Lisa), Madison Westphal, Krysta Johnson (Tyler), Lauren Marshall (Cole), Chase Westphal (Christina), Nicholas Westphal and Oliver Westphal. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
