She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kinney and Ferne Kinney; her husband Ken Van Maanen; her in-laws, Ed and Evelyn Van Maanen; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Van Maanen (Doris), Walter Van Maanen (Lois) and Sylvia Heuer (Gene).
She is survived by: her son Brad Van Maanen (Amy); her grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan (Alicia), Nathan and Megan; and her sister Carol Hintz (Marlin). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
