He is survived by: his wife Bonita Grong of Brookings; his children, Tom Pierce (Irene) of Bruce, SD, Jane Pierce (Duane Knutson) and Pam Adler (Rick) of Volga; his grandchildren, Karie Benson (Eric) of Volga, Shelly Pierce of Nicholasville, KY, Ryan Gross (Mandy Slocum) of Harrisburg, SD, Wade Adler of Springfield, SD, Jodi Rowbotham (Shane) of Andover, MN, Megan Kreutner (Tom) of Brookings and Molly Honkomp (Tony) of Brookings; his great grandchildren, Andrea Herr (Brett), Zach Benson, Kylee Slocum, Kendrick Droppers, Alex Adler, Nathan Rowbotham, Olivia Adler, Clara Kreutner, Noah Rowbotham, Bennett Honkomp, Corrie Kreutner, Konner Honkomp and Kollins Honkomp; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Pierce and Shirley Grong.
