He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Foster and Irene Foster (Oseby); his brother Rodney; his sisters-in-law, Alona and Loretta; his nephew Steven R. Foster; and his nephew-in-law Keith Schmidt.

He is survived by: his nephews, Michael D. Foster (Kim), Kip Foster, Rick Novak (Renee) and Randy Novak (Patti); and his niece Cathy Schmidt.
