He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Eidsness and Swanhild Eidsness (Hernes); his wife Lois Sandvik; his brother Arlo Eidsness; and his daughter Kari Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Merchen of Brookings, SD, David Merriweather Eidsness (Debbie) of Brookings, SD and Doug Eidsness of White, SD; his grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson (Jeff), Stephanie Homeier (Chris), Kellen Merchen (Megan), Derek Anderson, Stacy Anderson and Jordan Eidsness (Josie); his great grandchildren, Mykel Anderson (Alex), Mychelle Donelan (Tony), Julie Anderson, Kassandra Tamez (Rey), Jeremy Marquez, Nicholas Medina, Boyd Merchen, Owen Merchen, Jamison Ries, Wyatt Anderson, Shelby Anderson, Jonathon Stanton and Gage Stanton; his great great grandchildren, Joseph Carrington, Kaya Tamez, Theia Donelan and Henry Donelan; and his son-in-law John Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to the Old Timers Association or the American Cancer Society.
