She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Tompkins and Doris Tompkins (Haber); her daughter Diane; and her siblings, S. W. Tompkins, Ila Asmus and Lois Ullom.
She is survived by: her husband Robert G. Neal; her children, Patricia Eckstrand (Green Valley), Richard Neal (Sharon) and Douglas Neal (Nina); and her sister Faye Josephsen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
