It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Haaseth of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Hook and Henrietta Mae Hook (Flynn); her husband Vergil A. Haaseth; her son Tim Haaseth; her son-in-law Doug Amundson; and her close friend Rudy Bargmann.
She is survived by: her children, Jeri Amundson of Brookings, S. D., Penny Boettcher (Steve) of Watertown, S. D., Mickey (Laura) of Roslyn, SD, Kevin Haaseth of Brookings, S. D. and Todd (Shaun) of Brookings, S. D.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
