It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie McAdaragh (Brookings, South Dakota), born in Howard, South Dakota, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sawyer and Elizabeth Sawyer (Feeny); her husband John McAdaragh; her siblings, Richard, Lorene and Irene; her siblings-in-law, Peg (Dick Esser), Martin Reisch and Vic Krantz; her nephews, Arlen Sawyer and Bill Reisch; and her niece Carol Krantz.
She is survived by: her children, Dan McAdaragh (Noreen) of Brookings, SD and Mary Beth McAdaragh of Los Angeles, CA; and her grandchildren, Grant McAdaragh (Joy), Megan Thomas (Patrick), Troy (Anissa) and Shawn Helmbolt (Crystal). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be directed to the John McAdaragh Scholarship in Microbiology at South Dakota State University.
