He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hogan and Dorothy Hogan (Fehrenbach); his brothers, Bill and Terry; and his sister-in-law Carole.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Ford; his children, Bridget Hoye (Patrick), Eddie (Amy), Tim (Kate), Erin Fouberg (Robert) and Molly Richter (Charlie); his grandchildren, Olivia (Damon), Fiona, Sophie, Maggie, Claire, William, Colin, Meredith, Nickolas, Henry, Mary, Diego, Chloe, Charlie and Katie; his siblings, Nick (Jean) and Dottie (Jerry); his sister-in-law Eileen; and his cousin Rosie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eidsness Funeral Home (1617 Orchard Dr, Brookings, SD 57006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Parish (1700 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006).
