She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eckmann and Alice Eckmann (Meyer); her former husband Robert Leo Trenary; her husband Marvin Pershing Riley; her sister Neva Hammer; her brothers-in-law, Gil Hammer and Warren Gilchrist; and her children-in-law, Jan Trenary and David Lee Gilkerson III.
She is survived by: her friend Clayton Sloat of Brookings; her children, Robert John Trenary, Phillip Eugene Trenary (Terrie) of Grand Junction, CO, Gail Lynette Krogman (Harold) of Mission, SD and Deanna Sue Gilkerson of Brookings, SD; her grandchildren, Derrick Krogman (Melissa), Dustin (Beth), Mandy WoodenKnife (Travis), Nathan Gilkerson (Melissa), Lee (Amanda), Susan Deutsch (Paul), Rich Rust and Staci Smith; her great grandchildren, Arin, Dylan Krogman, Precious, Kenzie, Haysten WoodenKnife, Dakota, Laken Krogman, Truman, Anders Gilkerson, Charlie Deutsch, Jasmin Einrem, Sienna Trenary, Casey, Landon Smith and Xander Gunter; and her siblings, Esther Gilchrist and Ervin Eckman (Jean). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
