DVM James H. McKnight Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DVM James H. McKnight of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel James McKnight and Hilda M. Larson McKnight; his sister Jean Hoffer; his stepfather Oscar Bjordahl; and his stepsiblings, Cecil, Delbert, Wayne, Ron Bjordahl, Ruth Bowes, Verla McMasters and Fern Johnson.
He is survived by: his former spouse Oscar Bjordahl; his wife Connie Schumacher of Brookings; his children, Matt McKnight (Tammy) of Chicago and Ann McKnight (Tom Nelson) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Kelly McKnight (Travis Smith), Will, Max and Jack; and his brother-in-law Marv Hoffer. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and numerous other relatives and friends.
