He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert 'Dub' and Eulalia Hicks (Benz); his son Troy; his siblings, Orlin, Verona Miller, Lucille Peters, Russell Hicks and Wayne Hicks; and his brother-in-law Gene Hemmer.
He is survived by: his wife Darla Hicks; his daughter Tina Hicks; his daughter-in-law Kelly Hicks; his grandchildren, Ashley Hicks, Megen Menzel (Kasey), Ryker Hicks and Ethan Hicks; his great grandchildren, Liya Steele, Tade, Jax, Jason and Taz Menzel; his siblings, Phyllis Hemmer, Loretta Jackson (Don) and David Hicks (Verna); and his siblings-in-law, Bernita Hicks and Sidney Peters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
