She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Colberg and Olena Colberg (Anderson); and her spouse Harrold Appel. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Appel (Val), Lynn Appel, Darla Jillson (Erwin) and Beth Johnson (Steve). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the Appel family asks that family and friends make contributions to their local hospice programs or volunteer at a local assisted living community.
