With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Kluess (Brookings, South Dakota), who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Sagmoe and Fern Sagmoe; and her brothers, Duane "Pike" Sagmoe and Deane "Bucky" Sagmoe. She is survived by: her husband Jerald Kluess; her sons, Terry (Renae) of Brookings and Troy (MN) of Shakopee; her granddaughters, Alexandra (Jeremy Alf) and Cassandra; and her great grandchild Brianna Alf. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I've known Troy (Troyski as I call him) since 1983 when he was introduced as my room mate at SDSU. After 3 years of him putting up with me in Brown Hall, Room 413, I can say I spent more time living with him than anyone other than my mom and sister. Strangely, I do not have any vivid memories of Donna. I do recall her and Jerry always welcoming me and making me feel like family. The vision I have of her is smiling... and making me feel at ease.
