He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Cole and Rita Cole (Howard) of Platte, SD. He is survived by: his wife Margie Cole; his children, Danielle Anderson (Ross) of Pierre, SD, Dustin Cole of Brookings and Drew Cole (Cassie Munsterman) of Brookings, SD; his grandchildren, Mackennzie, Lyndzie and Lexzie; his parents-in-law, James and Romelle Carter of Watertown, SD; and his siblings, Bradley Carter (Heather) of Watertown, SD, Arleen Sanger (Dennis) of Rockham, SD, Joline Thomas (Phil) of Freeman, SD and Kelly Cole of Lisco, NE.

As time went on IPF and the pandemic robbed him of doing what he loved.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family to help with medical expenses that occurred over the past year.
