It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Louise Hill of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Spiering and Minnie Spiering (Walter); her husband Paul R. Hill; her son-in-law Robert Brockel; her grandsons, Danny Anderson and Baby Aaron; and her great grandchild Baby Caroline.
She is survived by: her former husband Arlin Schumacher; her daughter Nora; her former husband Roger Dobson; her children, Lisa Lowe of Watertown, SD, LaNora Brandenburger (Scott) of Clear Lake, SD, Vickie Brockel of Browns Valley, MN, Ida Burke of Watertown, SD and Mona Mills of Brookings, SD; her stepchildren, Eilleen Luckert (Kevin) of Coldwater, MI and Lou Hill of Huron, SD; and her brother Walter Spiering of Brookings, SD. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
