She was predeceased by: her father Lester Adams; her close friend Maxine Blanch; and her mother Lucille Adams (Norton). She is survived by: her spouse Gene Murra; her brothers, Stephen Adams and Richard Adams; her children, Gail Tischler, Lynne Del Rio, David Murra (Sammie Wright) and Susan Murra (Michael Edman); her grandchildren, Andrew Tischler, Emily Jaacks (Michael), Cairo Del Rio, Jamie Murra and Abigail Murra; and her great grandchildren, Damian Fortugaliza and Elijah Jaacks.
She completed her internship at Menninger's Foundation in Topeka, KS.
