He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bebensee; his sons, Brian VanderWaal (Jeff Hlavacek) of Minneapolis, Paul VanderWaal (Paul Kirkman) of Remer, MN and Mark VanderWaal (Rachelle) of Edgerton, MN; and his grandchildren, Brady, Tanner VanderWaal, Gerrit VanderWaal (Jessi Wightman) and Dina VanderWaal.
