We bid farewell to Arnold Brown (Brookings, South Dakota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Arnold touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brown and Carrie Brown (Berdahl); his siblings, Sylvia, Norma, Charlotte, Hannah, Ellsworth, Gerhard and Clifford; and his son Doug Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Krogstad; his sister Helen Rackerby; and his children, Debra Waltner, David Brown (Lisa), Patricia Brown, Cynthia Juntunen (Jim) and Kari Garbark. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2030 3rd St, Brookings, SD 57006). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
