She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Davidson and Alma Davidson (Amundson); her husband Oliver Hovland of Savior's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Prudence, Dorothy, Albin, Clarence, Lester, Scotty and Christine; and her son Mark Oliver Hovland.
She is survived by: her sons, Warren Hovland (Denise) of Brookings, SD, Brad Hovland (Kris) of Rapid City, SD and Steve Hovland of Scottsdale, AZ; her granddaughters, Holly Hovland and Gena Shirley; and her great grandchildren, Kash and McKaena Gonzalez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (307 Pine St, Summit, SD 57266). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
