He is survived by: his former wife Judith Ann Kahler (Janosco); his wife Judy; his sons, Alexander Kahler (Michelle), Nicholas Alexander and Jonathan Kahler (Melissa) of Brookings; his grandchildren, Jonathan Paul, Natalie, Lucas, Addison, Charlotte and Elizabeth; his sisters, Barbara Kahler Blythe of Ellington, Connecticut and Carol Kahler Salow (Don) of Fallbrook; and also Alvina Dowling (Graff) of Palm Desert, California.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
