It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan M Rogers of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Deloures Kathrin (Sour) and Melvin Church Rogers. He is survived by: his family, Dairy and Dairyland; his wife Jeraldine Elizabeth "Jerri" Rogers (Kahnke); his children, Jeffrey (Melissa), Jennifer (Barb), Matthew (Luc) and Thomas (Kane); his grandson Seth Rogers (Laura); his children, Michael, Freyja and Stephanie Walburn (Jordan); his grandchild Laikyn; his son Collin Ervin (Mallory); and his siblings, Roxanne Crayton-Skulstad of Brookings and Richard Rogers (Nancy) of Watertown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A wake will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pope Pius XII Newman Center (1321 8th St, Brookings, SD 57006). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
