He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ed Mulder. He is survived by: his parents, James Tonsfeldt and Robbi Tonsfeldt (Kay) of Spirit Lake, IA; his daughter Christel Einan; his wife Ali; his children, Meghan, Jordis, Jaida, Stella and Joseph; his sister Shannon Tonsfeldt of Los Angeles, CA; his parents-in-law, Mike and Mari Abler of Norfolk, NE; his siblings-in-law, Josh (Tami) Abler (Puerto Rico) and Bethany (Jon) Larson; his nieces and nephews, Caleb, Ben, Jeannette, Samara and Gabrielle; and his grandparent Grandma Kay (Grandpa Kay) of Juno Beach, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Even after death, Jason continues to think about others and his body will be donated to University of South Dakota to help provide more and better training for healthcare providers.
