We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 89, Darlys Garske of Britton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Carlson and Emma Carlson (Rye); her husband Donald Garske of Wisconsin; her sisters, Elaine Bergman (Nort) and Marilyn Hoglund (Jack); and her sister-in-law Nita Carlson.
She is survived by: her son Brian (Margaret) of Brockport, NY; her granddaughters, Jayna Streeter (Gordon) of Elmira, NY and Hannah Melia (James) of Rochester, NY; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Bronson, Sean Streeter and Morgan Melia; her son David (Kayce) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Stefanie Garske of Virginia Beach, VA and Anthony Garske of Moyock, NC.; and her siblings, Norman Carlson of Britton, SD and Marion West (Orville) of Groton, SD.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (504 9th Ave, Britton, SD 57430). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
