It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Hawkins (Britton, South Dakota), who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Haakon Tollefson and Anna Tollefson (Nygaard); her grandparents, Laurits and Anna Martha Nygaard (Aadland); her husband Richard W. Hawkins; her daughters, Nancy Lee, Penny Lynn, Nancy Hawkins Gelling of Wayzata, MN and Penny Behnke (Glen) of Britton, SD; her grandchildren, Jason Gelling (Victoria) of Medina, MN, Courtney Brassfield (Gary) of Britton, SD and Christopher Dorothy (Trisha) of Watertown, SD; her great grandchildren, Madeline, William Gelling of Medina, MN, Kaylin Dorothy of San Francisco, CA, Sterling, Canyon Brassfield of Britton, SD, Jaxon and Carly Dorothy of Watertown, SD; her siblings, Lovilla Holman (Homer) and Harley Tollefson (Dorothy); and her grandson Chad Dorothy. She was also cherished by four nieces and two nephews.
