He is survived by: his wife Donna Nielsen of Hendricks, MN; his children, Wayne Kurtenbach (Kathy) of Toronto, SD, Marlene King of Toronto, SD, Darla Poss (Jim) of Brookings, SD and Lisa Vandendriessche (Steve) of Marshall, MN; his grandchildren, Chad Kurtenbach (Sarah), Rob Kurtenbach (Rachel), Alicia Gass (Jared), Jesse King (Emily), Brady King (Erin), Cody King (Kayleigh Boucher), Kari Culver (Casey), Jerad Poss (Carolyn), Jordan Poss, Kayla Vandendriessche (Chris Kubitz) and Shauna Vandendriessche (Tory Miller); and his great grandchildren, Pierce, Ava Kurtenbach, Trey, Liam, Crew Kurtenbach, Isaac, Eli, Everly, Israel Gass, Brody Hall, Kendall, Colt King, Briar King, William and Leo Poss.
