It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Belaen of Brandt, South Dakota, born in Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Belaen and Rosell Belaen (Wambeke); and her brother Donald Belaen. She is survived by: her friend Rose Belaen; her husband Rodney Brungardt of Brandt, SD; her children, Ben Weckert (Kim) of Ivanhoe, MN, Annette Weckert (Easton) of Camp Verde, AZ and Jessica White (Cole) of Astoria, SD; her grandchildren, Micah Weckert (Elizabeth), Josh Weckert, Lane White and Jaycee Rose White; and her siblings, Roy Belaen (Barb), Robert Belaen (Peggy), Rita Maxwell (Patrick) and David Belaen (Paula). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
