With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Marie Resmen of Brandt, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol Marie left this world on April 17, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Olson and Stella Olson (Sorenson); her son James Resmen Jr.; her in-laws, Fred and Frances Resmen; and her grandson Brook Brown.
She is survived by: her husband James Roger Resmen; her daughter Bernadine Olsen (Robert); her daughter-in-law Linda Resmen; her sons, Kent Resmen (Kristi), Wayne Resmen (Kaylene) and Allen Resmen; and her siblings, Shirley Benz and Peter Olson. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highland Lutheran Church (412 Main St, Brandt, SD 57218). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
