He was predeceased by: his parents, Kalle Wesala and Aili Wesala; his wife Shirley Ann "Vana" Sanderson; his daughter Tamara Susan Wesala; his granddaughter Tamara Mychelle Lupo; and his siblings, Enid, Esther, Ellen, Hilja, Ida, Arnie, Oscar, Oiva and Kalle.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Wesala, Katja Paule and William Paule; and his granddaughter Kirstyn Fink-Wesala. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
