He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis and Willie Mae Knight (Peyton); and his son Jeffrey Knight. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Burchyett; his children, James T. Knight and Diana Knight; and his nieces, Connie Greenwood (Neil) and Mary Jo Saulter (Jim). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
