He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Basil, Dorothy Norris, Lawrence and Bernice Melton. He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence C. Melton, Jr. and Sharon Melton (Norris); his wife Angela Beard; his children, Megan Allison, Kendra Allison and Curtis Bradford (Ashley); and his siblings, Regina Albanese (Nicholas), Rebecca Allison and Lawrence C. Melton III. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the family of Timothy Melton.
