It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtle Genevieve Alsgaard (Brandon, South Dakota), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Lillie Patrina Johnson (Krogh); her husband Ernest Raymond Alsgaard; and her siblings, Dorothy Bocker and Alfred Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Martha McDonald, Ray Alsgaard (Nancy), Diane Rollag, Don Alsgaard, John Alsgaard (Melissa), Marlene Gerber (Jim), Arlene Alsgaard, Robert Alsgaard and Doris Peters (Gary). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; plus, many nieces and nephews.
