She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Kante and Lucie Kante (Kuhfeld); her sister Helga Kante (Kroll); her stepgrandchild Hayden; and her husband Dan D. Finch.
She is survived by: her daughter Liana Wathen (Andy); her grandson Samuel; her nephew Juergen Kroll (Kirsten); her stepchildren, Carol Essen (David), Richard Finch (Yongmi), Michael Finch (Christie) and Sharon Finch (Dan Pease); and her stepgrandchildren, Paul (Gurkie), Daniel, Laura, Brianne and Collin.
Eventually she returned to square dancing, and social dancing, and was dancing 2-5 times a week until just days before she fell ill with Covid and entered the hospital.
