He is survived by: his children, Mark Eckman of Council Bluffs, IA, Sheryl Jacobsen (Jeff) of Corcoran, MN and Allison Hiebert (Skylar) of Vancouver, WA; his grandchildren, Joshua and Payton Eckman of Fayetteville, NC; his children, Tim Jacobsen (Lauren) of Plymouth, MN, Tyler Jacobsen of Hopkins, MN, Emily Wynn (Rese) of Denver, CO, Matthew Jacobsen of Corcoran, MN, Ezra of Vancouver, WA. and Sydney Hiebert of Vancouver, WA.; and his brother Larry Eckman of Lake Park, IA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
