It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVon Dickey of Brandon, South Dakota, born in Bridgewater, South Dakota, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Wagner and Hazel Wagner (Kolls); her husband Ernest Dickey; and her sister Verna Menard. She is survived by: her children, Tim Dickey (Shayna), Olympia, Wash, Cari Symonds (Miles) of Huntsville, Ala., Tom Dickey of Sioux Falls, S. D. and Ted Dickey (Elissa) of Aberdeen, S. D.; her grandchildren, Zeb Dickey (Crystal), Lucas Dickey, Clayton Dickey (Nora), Brandon Dickey, Tasha Baldwin (Eric), Kayla Symonds (Matthew Daniels), Isabelle Dickey-Kappenman (Spencer), Emma Dickey, James Dickey, Jack Dickey and Ernie Dickey; her great grandchildren, Lenora, Alexa, Lincoln, Ryder, Mila, Zoe of Jema, J. J., Eliyanah and Maddox; and her sisters, Okla and Joann Wagner of Sioux Falls, S. D..
