We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2021, at the age of 82, Joyce Godfrey of Brandon, South Dakota, born in Waubay, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Dobson (Scotness) and Elza Dobson; her son Brian Godfrey; her brothers, Earl and Orville Dobson; and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Patricia Dobson.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Lori Tripp (Jim) of Sioux Falls, Greg Godfrey (Cheryl) of Lexington Park, MD and Lisa Burgess (Donn) of Casper, WY; her daughter-in-law Twila Godfrey of Upton, WY; and her grandchildren, Casey Godfrey, Jason Tripp (Andrea), Nathan Tripp (Aimee), Rebeckah Tripp, Leslie McWhirter (Eddie), Chad Cahoy and Darci Tidwell (Jamie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial may be directed to the Meals on Wheels senior program.
