She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Grace and Josephine Grace (Heidl); her husband Howard Brown Sr.; her parents-in-law, Ira and Lucy Brown; her siblings, Katherine Nelson, Lorraine Derrick and Francis Grace; and her grandson Michael T. Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas H. Brown of Brandon, SD, John Brown (Paula) of Brandon, SD, Connie Hay (Bill) of Colman, SD, Howard Brown Jr. (Nancy) of Brandon, SD, Pam Rippentrop (Dean) of Sioux Falls, SD and Charles Brown (Carol) of Brandon, SD. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the Brandon Valley Angel Fund, the Brandon Historical Society, or the Brandon VFW.
