It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Javier Velasquez of Brandon, South Dakota, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hosman Velasquez; and his grandfather Charles Moss. He is survived by: his mother Sarah (Mario Estrada) of Brandon; his sisters, Yasuri and Giana of Brandon; his grandparents, Lois Moss of Brandon, Leonel and Celia Ruiz of Sioux Falls; his uncles, Chuck Moss of Sioux Falls, Paul Moss (Lynn) of Sioux Falls and Jim Moss of Brandon; his aunt Karen Behnke (Travis) of Sioux Falls; and his girlfriend Kaci.
