He was predeceased by: his parents, William Waagmeester and Thelma Waagmeester (Danish); and his brothers, Ivan "Woody" and Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie McGloghlon; his children, Harley Waagmeester, Jr, Debra Kooistra (Russell), Barbara Murdock (Ken) and Gary Waagmeester; his grandchildren, Zachariah, Shelby, Chelsea and Alexa; his great grandchildren, Rhett and River; and his siblings, Marilyn Anderson, Sioux Falls, Marcia Johnson, Muriel and Rhinehart.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sioux Falls Humane Society or the American Heart Association in Harley's honor.
