Gary J. Van Voorst Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary J. Van Voorst of Brandon, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Voorst and Lucy Van Voorst (Van't Hul); his wife Claire; his sons, Matthew Van Voorst (Helena), Grant Van Voorst (Sarah) and Scott Van Voorst (Amber); his grandchildren, Aubrey Van Voorst, Isabelle Van Voorst, Ellie Van Voorst, Hendrik VanVoorst, Leighton Gacke, Josi Gacke and Piper Van Voorst; his sister Jolene Zomer (Herlan); his brother-in-law Rick Niessink; his sisters, Judith and Donna Niessink; and his niece Vicki Jo Harr.
