He was predeceased by: his parents, August Lootens and Doris Lootens. He is survived by: his wife Marge of Brandon; his daughters, Jennifer "Jenny" Haberman (Dan) of Broken Arrow, OK, Juanita "Nita" Steffel (Tim) and Stacy Thompson (Derek); his grandchildren, Amanda Martin (Braden), Zachary Haberman, Courtney Herrick, Caleb Steffel, Luke Thompson (Fiancé Julia Blue), Blake Thompson and Shane Thompson; his stepgrandsons, Cody and Casey Steffel; his great grandchild Adley Martin; and his sisters, Elaine Kack (Leon), Pat DeSmet (Harold) and Betty Winkels (Jeff) of Canby, MN..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
