He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bob" Madsen; and his brother Brad Madsen. He is survived by: his mother Marlys Madsen (Lekness); his wife Sharon; his children, Jason Madsen (Michelle) of Sioux Falls, SD, Shelley Correa (Matt) of Phoenix, AZ and Justin Madsen of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Isabella Correa, Jacob Madsen, Olivia Correa and Kate Madsen; and his siblings, Darice Boeve (Dennis), Royce Madsen (Wendy), Todd Madsen and Jon Madsen (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
