She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Henley and Rosina Henley (Tibke); her husband Jim Petersen; her daughter Robin Petersen; her great grandchild Kinsley Erickson; her brother Harold Henley; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Henley and Larry Kothe.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Erickson (Mark) of Valley Springs, SD, Mark Petersen (Della Weise) of Brandon, SD, Todd Petersen (Patty) of Sioux Falls, SD and Beth Lynn (Chris Price) of Bruce, SD; her grandchildren, Megan Knutson (Jon), Nichole Fletcher (Trev), Nathan Erickson (Hannah), Cody Erickson (Abbey), Zach Petersen (Michelle), Melanie Petersen (Lucas Bartolme' Gil), Erin Berg (Sam), Lacey Lynn and Lexy Lynn; her great grandchildren, Elise, Caitlyn, Tristyn, Annastyn, Keller, Mason, Savannah, Rosie, Marigold and Shiloh; and her siblings, Garney Henley (Charlotte) of Huron, SD and DiAnn Kothe.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (1801 Frontier St, Brandon, SD 57005). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Brandon Lutheran Church (600 E Holly Blvd, Brandon, SD 57005).
